Chocolate Ganache

I used to think that making Ganache was extremely difficult, to my surprise it's probably the easiest thing I've ever made! Here's a basic recipe that you can use to jazz up your cakes & cupcakes!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 8 ounces of semisweet (or milk) chocolate chips

You will need to cook the heavy cream and chocolate chips in a double boiler over simmering water until creamy smooth and warm. Stir occasionally to make sure it is cooked evenly.
Literally that's how easy it is to make it!

Once the chocolate is fully melted and mixed well with the heavy cream, you can now dip the tops of the cupcakes into the Ganache or pour over cake. Do not refrigerate!


Here is a chocolate brownie cupcake I made for my co-workers last march. Let's just say they're were no left overs! :)
