Hello! Hope you all enjoyed this fantastic week of ridiculously warm weather! We broke some crazy records here in the Montreal area, although it scares me a little that global warming is clearly happening, but I'm definitely not complaining! As the weekend approaches, we're going to be going back into the lower temps, but I will mention that they're still above average, so really we're pretty damn lucky! Bye Bye Snow, Hello green grass!
What a fast week! Friday is here, and we're approaching a weekend of debauchery- St-Patrick's Day! I wish you all a wonderful weekend, be safe and as my mom would say "Don't take any open drinks from anybody" - Thanks Mom!
It totally feels like spring outside! Walking the dog this morning was great, the drive in, even better, there was hardly any snow! I realize this is a result of global warming, but I’m all for an early spring/ summer, so bring it on mother nature!

I have never been so excited for it to be Friday! (Ok maybe I have, but still.. soooo stoked!) I'm heading straight up north from work today, it's going to be greeeat! I've been patiently waiting for this day to come for a while now, the brisk northern air, delicious food, good wine, and great people - nothing better!
I'm excited to share some fun cupcakes with you in a couple of days! I have to wait until the client delivers them before sharing with you all, just in case I ruin any surprises! ;-) In the meantime, I'll share some I did for a coworker! Awesome colors!

Last night I baked up a red velvet storm, and of course I had to try them. As mentioned before I’m not big a cake fan, but when it comes to red velvet, HUGE fan! The results were fantastic, super delicious! Pictures to follow this weekend!
Well somehow we’ve reached Friday again! It’s great, because it’s obviously one of the best days of the week, but I just can’t believe how fast life is flying by us! Reality is sinking in that before I know it, I’ll be in my mid 50s reminiscing on these exact days, and wishing I lived them up more. So I make this a challenge to myself, and to all of you who read this, live each day as if it was your last. It’s a cliché saying I know, but It’s SO true! Appreciate and enjoy every second of it, don’t steer away from the things that make you scared, because in the end those will be the best, and most exciting memories and life lessons one can have!
Where is this all coming from you ask? Well I think it’s important to realize these things sometimes, positivity goes much further than negativity! Having said that, I wish you all a wonderful weekend –live it up!

Well here we are, Friday! I have to say I noticed while leaving my office job this week that the days are getting longer! The sun is setting as I'm getting home, as opposed to when I walk out the office doors. This gives me hope that spring is on its way, there's a light at the end of the tunnel!
Today's Jenna Marble video is great, and SO true. God knows I've met a dozen of these people in my life. With tv shows like Jersey Shore, and pretty much any other MTV "reality" show set in the US, they're pretty much unavoidable now and days!
P.s I literally could just watch her talk to her dogs, she's hilarious and I'm glad to know I'm not the only crazy mo fo out there that does this!
Ah Friday, what a wonderful day of the week for all of us office folk! I'm looking forward to drinks tonight, and the thought of being able to sleep in past 6 am tomorrow, glorious! Behr's getting his hair cut tomorrow, should be hilarious, I'll refrain from laughing at him though, he gets all self-conscious ... poor tyke! (pictures for sure this weekend!)
Well Jenna has done it again, totally hilarious! I've actually never seen "Drunk Kitchen" but I'm thinking I should start watching it, if it's anything like hers, too funny! I actually enjoy having a few glasses of wine while I bake, it chills me out and gets me in the zone!
Well we made it! First full week back after the holidays, never easy! Yesterday's snow storm was quite something....today isn't looking too promising either unfortuntately. I'm 100% ready for spring/summer now, let's pray for an early one!

Friday! Totally doesn't feel like it for me since I'm all disoriented with my days from being off sick! I don't think I'll be doing much this weekend other than resting, and hopefully getting outside for a nice walk, I heard it's going to be mild tomorrow! I'm ok with just relaxing and focusing on my health, because NEXT weekend will be a full out birthday celebration for moi and my 3 friends! Can't wait. Our birthdays are all around the same time, so we figure let's save the pain on our wallets and combine them into a giant party - works every year!

Ok so I'm completely contradicting everything I've been saying about snow with these next few lines but... I woke up to snow and I gotta say I was kind of excited. (for the record I'll be back to my bitter self after Christmas is over with) I’ve come to the conclusion that the main reason I'm not feeling Christmas this year is due to the lack of snow. It was so pretty walking the dog this morning, it seemed so quiet and peaceful as the snow just slowly came down on us. Every little inch of each tree branch and bush was covered and it was quite stunning to the eye!
I’ll be on a 4 day vacation as of noon today and I cannot WAIT! I’ll be posting a few things over those days, so be sure to check in! I have some really cute Christmas Cupcakes to share with you tomorrow!

I've totally had Flo Rida's "Good Feeling" song stuck in my head all morning! I guess it's not the worst song to have stuck in your head and I mean really it's Friday, so it's fitting that I would have a good feeling. My friends will all be done school as of about 4pm this afternoon! It's been quite lonely during their exam time, so I am anxiously awaiting to celebrate with them tonight, tomorrow night and well let's be honest, all throughout the holidays!!
I started working on a cupcake order last night, decorations will go on tonight! I'm eager to share the pictures with you guys but I have a rule of only posting them after my customer has received them! (Seems like a fair rule no?) So I think it's safe to say by Saturday afternoon or Sunday, they'll be up. I did mini's with peanut butter, Skor bar & mint centers, all with extremely cute Christmas decorations!

FRIIIIIDAY! Hooray! We made it guys! I'm still slightly bitter about last night's vote off on XFactor...how ridiculous! (For those of you who watch it, I'm sure we are in agreement that Nicole screwed this one up big time!)
In other news, tonight I am getting my Christmas deco on with a few friends...and a few drinks... cant wait! It's actually my staff "Holiday" party tonight, however I am skipping it this year due to the fact that I will be driving alone in the dark 45 mins there and back and I am blind as a bat in the dark, so it seems like decorating is a better bet for me this year! My buddy's annual Christmas party is next saturday, so we're spiffing up the place, it going to look snazz!

So I am totally one of those people who talks to my pets…call me crazy, but I live alone so we have conversations all the time and by conversations I mean just me, because obviously they don’t respond.
I try not to get too into the whole “baby talk” thing… but with my puppy it’s kind of hard, Behr has now turned into Berniieee. (high pitched voice) He loves it… and my cat Carlos, well my Spanish is weak but I try to keep a solid accent at all times. I found it comforting to see that there’s others out there like myself…. check out Jenna Marbles video of the week; “How to talk to Animals”… she’s too funny.
