So Wilton just came out with their new baking liners. I am SO excited, they're so gorgeous! The little things in life eh? I am hoping that their Canadian distributors carry most of them, because I already have my eye on at least 5 of them!

Today's tune is one that we used to listen to back in the day, in fact it might have been Mel who introduced it to me. It reminds me of little Melski, because we used to sing it a lot and analyze just exactly who and what the song was directed to. I heard it a couple of days ago in the car, and decided it would be a perfect fit for today's tune.
Well we made it! I know I know, it was a 4 day week, but it felt SO long for some reason! Regardless, it is SUNNY, FRIDAY, and I am excited for the weekend!
I've been planning a Maine trip all week, so my head as been all over the place. As much as I love to plan trips, it's stressful when you have no clue about the area! I think I have landed a pretty sweet place across from the beach in Wells, Maine. I am waiting to hear back from them to confirm the dates, but I would say it's 95% sure that my boyfriend and I will be travelling to Maine mid August! SO excited! I love travelling through new towns, I am in love with Halifax, and was told that I'll fall head over heels for Maine! - Keep ya posted!
Hello! Sorry I've been so MIA lately... the long weekend accompanied by the fantastic weather was result of no new posts! Hope you all enjoyed all that hot sunshine, I can tell Summer is FINALLY on it's way!
Summer definitely reminds me of fresh fruits, and with the Hudson Farmer's Market now open every Thursday, I can't wait to get my hands on some fresh local goods! Lately I have been trying to garnish my cupcakes with fruits, rather than fondant! Equally beautiful, and bursting with fresh flavor, it's a nice change!
Below are two of Les Gâteaux Mignons' new cake flavors! The first is a White Chocolate Cupcake with Chocolate Buttercream, a fresh Raspberry and White Chocolate Shavings. (yum, I know..) The second is a Banana Pecan with Chocolate Chips Cupcake, with Chocolate Buttercream and a dried Banana Chip and lightly dusted with Icing Sugar.
Well folks, it's Friday! There is fantastic weather ahead for us in the Montreal area! To top it off, it's also long weekend! I cannot wait to get outside and enjoy this sunshine! Hope you all get time to enjoy it as well!
